Will survive democracy in Italy? The experiment, the thesis

December 15, 2008 at 2:46 pm (Politics) (, , , , )

After a good breath of relief for the intelligence of American people (at last freed from subjection to a policy of  imperial stupidity, swollen breasts of nothing), I return to explain to my American friends what happens in Italy. In my opinion, of course: the views are always personal views.

But what matter the events of that small corner of the world called Italia? At most could be amused curiosity. Uhm, this is the error I did myself for a long time, but now I’m believing there is much more, observing carefully.

Indeed I believe that Italy is the vanguard of a historic experiment if cancelling the democracy, not through a tested coup d’etat, for which more or less solid counter-defenses exist in all countries, but through the control and deformation of information. Not the fascist dictatorship, but the Big Brother regime of Orwell, the fascination rather than repression. In next posts I will try to prove the thesis.

I’m saying that Italy is the vanguard of the experiment, the paradigmatic model, because there are signs that suggest similar attempts elsewhere, unfortunately, although less advanced. Especially in the evil, Italy often was teacher.

Who knows Berlusconi, could accept the thesis for Italy, but definitely reject for other countries. Alright, I want to speak about Italy, but simply let us think to the enormous amount of money, spent to save those who were behind the global financial crisis, especially comparing it with little invested to help common families. Some democratic government or central bank asked you if were in agreement with the two measures?
Much for guilty financial companies, small for those who missed first and now pay! And was your money through taxes. Is it democracy?
- It’s to save jobs!
What? Yours or those of the masters of global finance?

See you later, friends! Italy is not the only Banana Republic.
