Why Hombre-Armonica?
From Once upon a time the West, by Sergio Leone. Henry Fonda-Frank goes to final meeting with Charles Bronson-Harmonica:
Harmonica – At last you decided to come personally.
Frank -Morton [the railways master] was quiet knowing you are here waiting, me no.
Harmonica – Then you discovered not to be a businessman.
Frank – No, only a man.
Harmonica – An ancient race. They come the Mortons, and will sweep away us, but that wiil not be our affair.
I saw this movie at my 20’s. I decided that was my life philosophy, only a man. If I was at the height of it, and always, is not to me to judge.
Another movie that touched me was Blade Runner, the replicant Rutger Hauer dying, who say:
“I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tanhauser Gate. All those … moments will be lost in time, like tears…in rain. Time to die.”
We are what remember.

Da C’era una volta il West, di Sergio Leone. Henry Fonda-Frank va all’incontro finale con Charles Bronson-Armonica:
Armonica - Alla fine hai deciso di venire personalmente.
Frank -Morton [il boss delle ferrovie] sarebbe rimasto tranquillo sapendo che tu eri qui ad attendere, io no.
Armonica – Allora hai scoperto di non esere un uomo d’affari.
Frank – No, solo un uomo.
Armonica – Una razza antica. Verranno i Mortons, e ci spazzeranno via, Ma questo non sarà affare nostro.Ho visto questo cinema nei miei vent’anni. Ho deciso che questa fosse la mia filosofia di vita, solo un uomo. Se sono stato all’altezza di essa, e sempre, non tocca a me giudicarlo.
Un altro film che mi ha impressionato è stato Blade Runner, il replicante Rutger Hauer morente, che dice:
“Ho visto cose che voi umani neppure immaginate. I vascelli d’attacco in fiamme al largo dei bastioni di Orione. E ho visto i raggi B balenare nel buio vicino alle porte di Tannhäuser. E tutti quei momenti andranno perduti nel tempo… come lacrime nella pioggia. E’ tempo di morire.”
Noi siamo ciò che ricordiamo.

Charle Bronson è stato un mio idolo e credo che Hombre-armonica mi sarà simpatico al pari a patto che a volte non diventi troppo prolisso…ahahah
