Will survive democracy in Italy? Last but not least misdeed
If someone of my english speaking readers would say I’m overstating the risk for italian democracy, well Berlusconi – the Berlüsca – provided himself to prove my fears are right. Italian newspaper La Repubblica yesterday uncovered a last but not least misdeed of this tycoon, so little levantine with poor morality.
The newspaper reports that during magistracy investigation about HDC-Datamedia bankruptcy, the Guardia di Finanza, an italian police corp, has operated telephonic interceptions. From those result many conversations between managers of RAI, the television network property of State, and managers of Mediaset, property of Berlusconi. They agreed about programming strategies to RAI prejudice, about retarding and giving with low profile news that were disagreable to political part of Berlusconi, then govern chief. You may read, unluckily in italian, all those nice things at the news and at details. As regard Mediaset managers we may suppose industrial espionage crime, and I remember that McLaren lost last F1 championship for this crime. About RAI managers we suppose also treachery of their firm interests.
For all, we may suppose a trusts crime against free market and information prejudice. Well if I’ld commit half of this treachery, my firm would dismiss immediately, but they will be save.
But Berlusconi says he has no conflict interests; and it’s true, this so little levantine lives very well with all his interests. It’s democracy that lives very bad.
